Peace Award winner President, Oscar Arias.
In Costa Rica you can enjoy the privilege
of in just a matter of minutes being
able to travel from an exuberant Tropical
Rain Forest to a warm, coconut shed Beach.
The Arenal Volacano (Perfectly Conned
Volcano) which with its activity gives
spectacular sights to tourists and locals,
various other volcanoes are also very
popular among tourists. Other tourist
attractions are: White water rafting,
canopy, sport fishing, surfing, bungee
jumping, horseback riding, diving and
much more.

which are San Jose the capital,
Heredia, Cartago, Alajuela, Puntarenas,
Guanacaste and Limon.
- The Area is 52,000 kilometres.
- Its population is four and a half million
people.
- Costa Rica´s official Language is
Spanish, but you´d be surprised
to find out that many of its inhabitants
also speak or at least understand English,
specially young adults, youths and children,
this thanks to the fact that English
is thought as a second language since
Pre-school in most of our Public Schools.
- Its Currency is the ¨Colón¨.
